City Bikes 24h (private groups 1-10 guests)

From NOK 2'500

Enjoy the nearly endless summer nights with a 24-hour city bike rental. With so many hours of biking, you can see nearly all the main sites and many of the secret "local" parts of the city, ranging from trendy neighborhoods to historic castles and palaces to hidden beaches.

We have city bikes available in small, medium and large (appropriate for ages 12+). If you require child bikes or child seats, please visit our page for City family bike rentals.

There is a flat fee for 24-hour private bike rentals. Groups of 1-10 people pay NOK 2500. For groups larger than 10 people, please contact us via email ""

The city center is relatively flat with only a few small inclines and hills, making it accessible for nearly everyone. Further out along the Bygdøy peninsula's coastline, there are more hills and some of the riding can be on well-maintained dirt or gravel paths. These bikes are not suitable for the challenging terrain of the Oslo Forest and we recommend you look at our partner pages for mountain bikes.

12 April 2021 - 31 October 2021: every day, seven days per week. Bikes should be picked up between 10:00-11:00 and returned at the same time the following day. Advanced booking is required.

November-March: winter bikes with studded tires required in order to ride safely on snow and ice. Please see our page for winter bike rentals for more information.

While the use of helmet is optional for adults in Oslo, Viking Biking strongly recommends using helmets and offers them free of charge.
