Bike Tour: Oslo off the beaten path

Discover an alternative Oslo, full of street art, hip cafés, surprising waterfalls, great food and award winning coffee. During this approximately 3-hour bike tour, we will ride the path along the Akerselva River, with a stop at the heart of Oslo’s food scene, the indoor market “Mathallen” (closed on Mondays). Be amazed by rushing waterfalls in the middle of the city, just blocks from the trendy Grünerløkka neighborhood. And an absolute must is a stop at the modern Opera and the exciting urban development around it, including a stop at Oslo's newest urban beach.

This tour is run on a private basis. Recommended starting time is 10:00 but additional start times of 13:00 (1pm) and 15:00 (3pm) are possible. Advanced booking is required

This ride involves a few short and steep hills next to waterfalls but otherwise is mostly flat. Stops are frequent and total distance covered is about 11km (7 miles).


Please arrive at the starting point at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour. All tours include optional helmet. On wet days, rain ponchos are available for 30 kroner per person. There are no toilets at the start of the tour but there are multiple stops during the tour when toilets are available.
